On September 17, 1787 a small band of men, 39 in total, set in motion an idea that was formulated and placed on parchment, eventually circulated among the several states for ratification that would become the law of the land and the beacon of hope for the entire planet.

As much as The Constitution is under attack on a daily basis from folks who believe it is a “living document” that, therefore, can be killed on a whim as easily as an embryo at the hands of a government sponsored research “scientist;” our Founding Document stands the test of time and the assaults of misguided progressivism, liberalism, conservatism, capitalism, socialism and every other ism out there – all impotent versus the rock solid eternal natural rights the Constitution codifies.

So, on this day, rejoice that our foundation is solid. Stand for the freedoms it ensures, and support the men and women who stand in the way of foreign and domestic tyranny, despotism and terrorism to protect it and us. Thank God that our Founders were not Deists but true God-fearing men from a Judeo-Christian tradition that believes in the sanctity of life and the unwavering American Exceptionalism (the only ism that mattered to them!) that gives every person a chance to succeed, and yet does not deny them the opportunity to choose to fail…as so many have chosen.

Let us rededicate our very lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor to perpetuate the dream first brought to the age of Enlightenment with some force of power by the Declaration Of Independence and realized in the Constitution of The United States of America.

As long as you and I remember that a government which is Of The People, By The People, and For The People means that it is We The People who rule our Government, our selves and our country – but not each other – we shall prevail.

And bring to more perfection that which Providence has provided:

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
